At 11:25 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 7, the Associated Press (AP) called the state of Pennsylvania for former Vice President Joe Biden, which put his total Electoral Votes at 284 and secures him the presidency.
Republicans picked up key seats in Election Day races across the state, giving them control of the State Senate, State House, Executive Council, and Governor’s Office.
University of New Hampshire (UNH) students flocked to the polls on Election Day. Oyster River High School (ORHS) was bustling with voters and electioneers. Faces were covered with masks, but spirits remained high. Coffee was served and buses shuttled students back and forth from campus to the polls.
