The University of New Hampshire (UNH) women’s soccer team didn’t get a chance to compete in the 2021 postseason. The team earned a spot in the America East Tournament, but due to coronavirus (COVID-19) concerns within the program, they were forced to withdraw. The ‘Cats had a strong season up until their early exit. They had the best start in program history (4-0) and never dropped a game at Wildcat Stadium.

DURHAM, N.H. – University of New Hampshire (UNH) women’s soccer improved to 4-0 (1-0 America East) with a 1-0 win over the University of Maine (0-3, 0-1). The perfect record to this point is the best start the program has seen in their history. The Border Battle was a defensive one for the full 90 minutes, with neither team finding the net in regular time. It took overtime and a strike from the captain, senior forward Francesca Picicci, to send the Black Bears back to Orono empty-handed. UNH outshot Maine 16-4 and looked the better side throughout.

DURHAM, N.H. – The University of New Hampshire (UNH) women’s soccer team defeated the University of Rhode Island (URI) by a final of 2-0 on Sunday afternoon. The Wildcats (3-0) were the better team for most of the game and deserved the victory. Goals came less easily for head coach Steve Welham's side against the Rams (0-2) after coming off a 5-1 offensive showcase versus Merrimack College (1-1). Despite the goalless first half, a determined UNH team always felt in control.

DURHAM, N.H. – The University of New Hampshire (UNH) women's soccer team (2-0, 0-0) won their second game of the season in style with a 5-1 win over Merrimack College (1-1). UNH’s defense left Merrimack on their heels for almost the entire game. Head coach Steve Welham said the team's goal coming into the game was to press Merrimack off the field. They certainly did, with several goals coming from Merrimack turnovers in the attacking third.
