GREENSBORO, N.C. — No. 11 nationally ranked University of New Hampshire (UNH) men’s soccer (8-1-1, 7-0-1) fell to No. 24 Kentucky (12-4-2, 3-3-1) in the second round of the NCAA Tournament by a final of 2-0 with goals from senior Bailey Rouse and first-year defender Jalen Bigby. Kentucky will move on to the third round to face No. 4 Wake Forest.

DURHAM, N.H. – No. 12 University of New Hampshire (UNH) men’s soccer (5-0-1, 4-0-1) defeated a struggling UMass Lowell team (0-6-0, 0-4-0) by a score of 4-1 on Friday afternoon at Wildcat Stadium. With the dominating win the Wildcats punched their ticket to the four-team America East Championship to defend their status as America East Champions.

DURHAM, N.H. – No. 14 University of New Hampshire (UNH) men’s soccer (4-0-1, 3-0-1) returned home to Wildcat Stadium on Friday where they dominated the Hartford Hawks (2-1-0, 2-1-0) in a 4-0 victory. However, the win didn’t come without a cost as junior captain Jonny Wolf left the game early with what appeared to be a knee injury.

Crookshank signs entry-level contract with the Ottawa Senators

Junior forward Angus Crookshank has decided to forgo his final year of eligibility and sign a three-year entry-level contract with the Ottawa Senators of the National Hockey League (NHL). The contract is set to start for the 2021-22 season but Crookshank can hop right into team activities once he’s cleared quarantine because he also signed an amateur tryout agreement and will report to the American Hockey League’s (AHL) Belleville Senators. Crookshank was selected by Ottawa in the fifth round of the 2018 NHL Draft.

DURHAM, N.H. – The No. 17 University of New Hampshire (UNH) men’s soccer team (2-0-1, 1-0-1) tied the University of Vermont (0-0-1, 0-0-1) 0-0 on Friday afternoon at Wildcat Stadium after 110 minutes of play. 160 students were in attendance as part of a pilot program, a number of limited student tickets were made available for the game.

CHESTNUT HILL, MASS. – University of New Hampshire (UNH) men’s hockey (6-14-3) traveled to Chestnut Hill to take on arguably the best team in all of college hockey, No. 1 Boston College (17-4-1) in the Hockey East Quarterfinals. The Wildcats’ season came to an end after losing 3-2 to the Eagles. The No. 9 seeded Wildcats came into this game with some momentum after defeating rival Maine in a blowout last Wednesday night.

DURHAM, N.H. – No. 17 University of New Hampshire (UNH) men’s soccer (2-0, 1-0) hosted their first game this past weekend when the Northeastern Huskies (0-2, 0-0) came to town. The Wildcats put a beating on the Huskies in the first half, burying three goals in the first 21 minutes.
