Thursday afternoon’s match against the University of Vermont (UVM) Catamounts (10-5-1, 7-2-0) was the exception to that norm as the Wildcats lost by a final of 3-0 in their regular season finale. This is the first time since Oct. 14, 2018, that New Hampshire has allowed three goals in a game. While the loss wasn’t enough to drop the ‘Cats out of the playoffs, it erased their hopes of reaching the second seed and drops them to sixth in the America East Championship.

It was a different game, but the same result for the University of New Hampshire’s (UNH) women’s soccer (2-5-2, 0-1-1). The Wildcats staved off a loss with a late goal but once again failed to record a win or more than one goal Sunday against at the University of Albany (1-6-3, 0-1-1) through regulation and two extra periods.

One goal was all it took for University of New Hampshire (UNH) women’s soccer (2-3-1) to beat Siena College, snapping a six-game road losing streak for UNH and handing them their first win since their season opener on Aug. 19.
