NEWARK, N.J. — Nothing could go wrong for the University of New Hampshire (UNH) swim & dive as they traveled to New Jersey to compete in the America East (AE) Championships. UNH finished the Championship meet with 817 points, while also winning 15 out of the total 18 events. This performance continued the dominance the ‘Cats have had on the America East. This title extends the Wildcats record of the most America East Championships with nine.

Four Wildcats competed for the University of New Hampshire (UNH) this past weekend in the NCAA Regional Championship. Junior Hailey Lui and sophomores Kylie Gorgenyi, Robyn Kelley and Alyssa Worthington were the only UNH gymnastics (9-3, 5-1) athletes able to compete in regionals after the teams ranking fell to 38 in the nation with only the top 36 advancing to the championship. Coronavirus (COVID-19) protocols kept UNH from competing in the EAGL Championship on March 20 and ended the rest of the team’s season.

University of Southern Maine (USM) track & field hosted the University of New Hampshire (UNH) and the University of Maine this past Friday and Saturday. The UNH women secured four first-place finishes in 19 events this weekend, while the men’s team saw six first-place finishes out of the 19 events.
