ORONO, Maine – University of New Hampshire (UNH) women’s basketball (5-14, 5-11) fell 82-53 to the University of Maine (16-2, 13-2) Saturday, Feb. 20. UNH had pulled off a win in their first game versus Maine this season, but their third matchup was more akin to their second which ended in a blowout loss.

DURHAM, N.H. – University of New Hampshire (UNH) women’s basketball (5-11, 5-8 AE) dominated the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) (4-13, 4-9 AE) on Sunday by a final of 76-67. The final score doesn’t tell the whole story, however, as the Wildcats seemed to have the game wrapped up by halftime.

ALBANY, N.Y. – University of New Hampshire women’s basketball (4-11, 4-8 America East) fell in back-to-back games against the Albany Great Danes (4-6, 3-3 AE) over the weekend. The consecutive defeats were the Wildcats' first back-to-back losses since they faced Hartford a month ago when Kelsey Hogan's team dropped their first three games.

DURHAM, N.H. - Kelsey Hogan, the UNH women’s basketball head coach, is the youngest coach in women’s college basketball. She inherited a team that had gone a combined 16-43 the last two seasons. She replaced Maureen Magarity, who had guided the Wildcats for 10 seasons and became the second-winningest coach in school history.

The University of New Hampshire women’s basketball team (4-9, 4-6) split a two-game series with Stony Brook (6-4, 4-2) over the weekend. The Wildcats looked sharp in game one, winning 52-49, but ran out of steam the following day, falling 64-41. This split marks the third series in a row in which Kelsey Hogan's squad has won game one and been defeated in the second leg.

DURHAM, N.H. – In their first America East action of the season, UNH women’s basketball split a two-game weekend series against conference newcomers, NJIT. It was a tale of two games for UNH. The Wildcats lost big in their first matchup against the Highlanders 78-57 but battled back the next day for a 59-53 comeback win.
