DURHAM, NH- Following the second postponement of the University of New Hampshire’s (UNH) University Day (U-Day), the Memorial Union Building (MUB) hosted a student involvement fair to allow students to be introduced to the 250+ recognized student organizations.
University of Southern Maine (USM) track & field hosted the University of New Hampshire (UNH) and the University of Maine this past Friday and Saturday. The UNH women secured four first-place finishes in 19 events this weekend, while the men’s team saw six first-place finishes out of the 19 events.
Inspired by the word “Kook” which is a slang to describe an amateur surfer, Koastal Kooks is an apparel and clothing company founded by University of New Hampshire (UNH) students John Bogush, Patrick Cotter, Adil Hamdi, Carter Havey and Christian Lamers. Though Koastal Kooks was only an idea for these five co-founders when they were in high school, it came to fruition this past summer. Since then, Koastal Kooks has become a popular brand in the UNH community. The brand sells basic clothing pieces ranging from t-shirts, crewnecks, hoodies, sweatpants, to accessories like hats and beanies.
With restaurants becoming take-out only and operations and large gatherings being prohibited, the COVID-19 pandemic has served as grounds for a home-cooking revolution.
