UNH (5-15, 5-11) entered the contest as the fifth seed, with UAlbany (6-10, 5-7) earning the fourth seed. Head coach Kelsey Hogan's young team almost pulled off a double-digit comeback, but back-to-back three-pointers with under two minutes to play proved to be the dagger for the Wildcats.
