The University of New Hampshire (UNH) women’s hockey team (6-13-1) faced off against No. 3 Northeastern (15-1-1) on Saturday at the Whittemore Center. This was the first of two games between the Wildcats and Huskies over the weekend.

Unfortunately for the ‘Cats, the weekend didn’t go according to plan as they went on to get swept by the Huskies.
After dropping a game to No. 9 ranked UMass, the University of New Hampshire men’s hockey team looked to get back into the win column against a tough UConn team. The Wildcats entered the weekend with a 1-1-1 meanwhile the Huskies entered with a 2-4-1 record after securing a win against the Providence Friars.
