Pair of losses drops Wildcats into ninth place

Heading into this past weekend, UNH and BU were tied for fifth place in the Hockey East with 19 points apiece. Thus, every point is crucial as teams fight for a playoff spot in the tightly competitive conference.

Track & Field go to BU

This past weekend the men’s and women’s track and field teams sent representatives down to BU for the David Hemery Valentine Invitational.

'Cats win eighth America East Championship

·

This past weekend, the UNH women’s swimming and diving team was able to carve their names in the history books as they claimed the America East Championship with a total score of 876 points.

Lester named conference Player of the Week

·

UNH men’s basketball played host to the Stony Brook Seawolves on Saturday, Feb. 8. The Wildcats featured four players reaching double digits including senior forward Chris Lester who led all scorers with 22 en route to his team’s 81-64 win.

UNH dominates quad meet

The UNH Wildcats Gymnastics team hosted a quad meet this past weekend against WVU, George Washington, and Brown. They looked to continue and improve on their hot start to their season.

‘Cats place 4th in New England

This past weekend, the UNH men’s track and field team travelled to Boston University for the New England Championships Track and Field Meet. Out of the 22 schools that participated, UNH finished in fourth place with a total of 45 points.

Wildcats fall to UMass Lowell in final seconds

UNH men’s basketball went to UMass Lowell for a date with the Riverhawks on the heels of their loss against UVM. The Wildcats challenged the Riverhawks into the final seconds before losing and falling back below the .500 mark on the season.

Wildcats, Freehling, defeat Towson at home

·

UNH hosted Towson this past weekend in a highly anticipated East Atlantic Gymnastics League (EAGL) matchup. Coming off several road trips, the ‘Cats looked to dig in coming into the heart of their schedule.
