ALBANY, N.Y. — It was a different game, but the same result for the University of New Hampshire’s (UNH) women’s soccer (2-5-2, 0-1-1). The Wildcats staved off a loss with a late goal but once again failed to record a win or more than one goal Sunday against at the University of Albany (1-6-3, 0-1-1) through regulation and two extra periods.

DURHAM, N.H. – The University of New Hampshire (UNH) Wildcats knocked off the Hartford Hawks in consecutive sets (25-16, 25-22, 25-20) on Sunday to improve to 8-6 on the season and 1-0 in conference games. The Wildcats were able to wear down Hartford with an efficient offensive performance. Hartford dropped to 2-12 on the season with the loss. It was their eighth time being swept in just fourteen matches on the year.

PITTSBURGH, PA. – The Pittsburgh (Pitt) Panthers (3-1, 0-0) made it clear they weren’t going to let the No. 21 University of New Hampshire (UNH) Wildcats (3-1, 2-0) sneak up on them like Western Michigan had in week three. The Panthers bullied the smaller Wildcat team for 60 minutes en route to a 77-7 statement victory at Heinz Field.

DURHAM, N.H. — Soccer is the beautiful game, but the University of New Hampshire (UNH) scored ugly Tuesday night. The Wildcats’ offense had their claws out versus the Quinnipiac Bobcats (5-1-0). The ‘Cats finally found their goalscoring groove and fired five goals past the visitors while keeping a clean sheet for the sixth time this season. Head coach Marc Hubbard tinkered with his starting lineup, and the result spoke for itself. No. 9 UNH men’s soccer improved to 8-0-0 on the season with the win and improved their stellar record at Wildcat Stadium to 38-1-5.

Junior midfielder Rory O’Driscoll found himself back on the scoresheet over the weekend. The Minneapolis native stayed hot and scored both goals of the game. EASTON, PA. – It wasn’t as glamorous as last week’s home opener, but the No. 23 Wildcats (3-0, 2-0) went into Lafayette (0-3, 0-0) and found a way to escape with a 19-13 win and their perfect record still intact. Junior wideout Brian Espanet and sophomore running back Dylan Laube paced the offense for the University of New Hampshire (UNH). The duo was able to hold off the Leopards just long enough after special teams had the Wildcats down early.

The University of New Hampshire (UNH) volleyball team currently sits at 7-5 after winning two of three in the Holly Young Invitational and one of three in the team’s most recent tournament over the weekend at Dartmouth. More recently, the team has won their first two games in the UNH/Merrimack Tournament.

University of New Hampshire (UNH) men's soccer (6-0-0) took all three games on their most recent road trip before conference play begins Sept. 15. The final two games were against Michigan (3-2-1) and Marist (3-3), which the 'Cats won 1-0 and 2-1, respectively.

DURHAM, N.H. – It was going to take a complete defensive effort for the Wildcats (2-0, 2-0) to take down the Towson Tigers (1-1, 0-1) Saturday night and that’s exactly what they got. University of New Hampshire (UNH) was aided by upward of 10,000 fans inside Wildcat Stadium; however, after three missed field goals by redshirt junior kicker Jordan Conn, the true insurance came from senior safety Evan Horn in the 26-14 win.
